Hidden Beach Treks
The beaches you can't drive to are always the ones worth walking for.
The moment the ocean picks you up, everything else goes quiet.
1.5 hours, a soft-top board and a qualified coach beside you the whole time. Most guests stand up on day one.
Your first session is built to be simple, relaxed and confidence-building. We move at your pace in beginner-friendly waves, and nobody is pushed further than they want to go.
Gentle, slow-breaking whitewater made for learning.
Experienced, certified coaches focused on safe, confidence-building lessons.
Warm water year-round — just swimwear.
Max five guests per coach — never a queue.
Water briefing, float support and constant watch.
Start with a single session, or keep going until surfing is just something you do. Four ways in, at your own pace.
“I experienced surfing.”
“I can independently catch beginner waves.”
“I’m actually becoming a surfer.”
“Surfing is what I do whenever I’m in Gokarna.”

Boards, tides and the pop-up on dry sand.
Your first push, your first ride.
Catching waves on your own steam.
Photos, cold drinks and grins.
Your safety comes before everything else. We read the ocean before every session and only run lessons when conditions genuinely suit beginners — if they don’t, we reschedule rather than compromise your experience.
Basic comfort in water helps, but you'll be in shallow whitewater with a coach beside you and a buoyant board. Tell us your comfort level when booking and we'll plan around it.
Most first-timers get to their feet in the first session. The waves here are slow and forgiving, which is exactly why Gokarna suits beginners.
We check conditions at dawn. If it isn't safe for learners we reschedule or move to a calmer break — never a forced session.
We coach from around age 10 upwards, provided the child is comfortable in water. Families are very welcome.
Yes — soft-top boards and safety gear are included. Just bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen.
